Subjunctive in Spanish – Grammar


We have different types of past subjunctive in the past subjunctive like the present subjunctive

  • Past subjunctive forms of regular -ar verbs, which are based on the ending -ara;
  • Past subjunctive forms of non-ar verbs – –er (regular -er-ir verbs plus irregular verbs), which are based on the ending -iera😉
