Stress and accent marks
The second aspect important to learn is the Spanish stress and accent marks. Do not concentrate now on the meaning of the words, we will go on that later. They are three basic rules you have to concentrate to learn the pronunciation of Spanish words. Once you learn these rules you are going to be in conditions to pronounce every words, although you don’t know the meaning yet.
Spanish stress and accent marks rules are…
1. If a word ends in a vowel, n or s, the stress is on the penultimate (next to last) syllable. In order to practice please repeat the following words:

I don’t want to confuse you anymore, but these words have a reason why the accent marks are there. There is the rule of words Agudas , Graves Y Esdrújulas; however there is time to go further on this topic.
