Regular Verbs

Spanish regular verbs are formed by dropping the last to letters of the infinitive verb and then conjugate the verb. The infinitive verb is formed by a “stem” and the last two letters of the verb. For instance, the word “Cantar” …….. (Cant) = stem and “ar”. There are three classes of infinitive verbs: the ones that end in “ar”, the ones that end in “er” and the ones that end in “ir”.  In regular verbs, the stem never changes, only the endings. Every class of infinitive is conjugated differently.


Irregular verbs

a) Stem-changing verbs: Verbs that change only the stem and the no-stem part you conjugate like regular verbs. Click HERE to start with the lesson.

b)Verbs that change everything: Changes the  stem and no-stem, and the changes do not make any sense, but fortunately there is a few of them: Ir, Ser, oir and any other verb that changes everything. Click HERE to start with the lesson

c) The rest of irregular Verbs:

c1) Verbs that changes in the “Yo” form and the rest acts like regular verbs

c2) Verbs that change in the “Yo” form and the rest acts like irregular steaming changing verbs
